Hey folks, I'm wondering what everyone's favorite non-reboot TV series is. Any Shadow raiders fans out there?
I follow House right now, mostly bcause I got too wrapped up in the characters a few seasons back and now I can't stop following it, even as it becomes more soap-opera like. I'm also a huge M*A*S*H and Seinfeld fan and a bit of a Friends follower, mostly cause I really like how it captures the "large group of friends" relationship. Like in a real group of friends, one person isn't more important than the others, and they each take their turns being funny.

Hmm that's a toughie since I don't watch TV all too much anymore.
However if I were to really say it would have to be The Twilight Zone. I always loved Rod Serling's ingenious introductions and mind tingling stories that always seemed to make me think. Possibly one of the best examples of amazing television writing.

Earlier this year someone asked me what tv shows I watched, I got stumped because I couldn't remember many, so when I got home I made a list of the shows I watched all episodes of over the past 5+ years, I think I stopped counting after 130...

I don't watch TV that much anymore... but I have a large DVD collection of British detective shows. Sherlock Holmes, Poirot, Foyle's War, Midsomer Murders, and so on. I also used to watch a lot of cartoons, such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, Batman TAS, and Avatar, as well as things like Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. I was a big fan of Toonami back in the day. Recently I've been tuning in to Monk. ...Yeah, I'm big into detectives. Sherlock Holmes has my eternal love.

I saw one episode of Monk from a promo DVD in a cereal box, absolutely loved it! However I haven't seen it much on Canadian tv lately... kinda disappeared. Forgot to add to my original post that I also love the show Scrubs, the closest thing to a live action family guy. Worth a watch hehe

I also don't have THAT much time for TV these days. Right now, the only show I really watch on a regular basis is that new SciFi series, V.
Occasionally, I'll watch comedies, like Family Guy, South Park, or the Simpsons if they're on.
I might also catch the occasional Star Trek episode.
One show that, like Reboot, draws me in every now and then, would have to be the old cult sci-fi favorite, Lexx. God, that show is so darkly funny and strangely fascinating. I just love it.
And of course, Beast Wars and Shadow Raiders are fondly remembered, just like Reboot.

Actually, as I was growing up, my favorites were everything Mainframe (Weird Oh's, Shadow Raiders, Beasties (Yes, the Canadian naming!), Action Man, Spider-Man, etc), Mighty Max, Street Sharks, The Super Mario Bros Super Show, Pokemon, Digimon, Whose Line Is It Anyways, and so many more MUMMIES TONIGHT... I mean... There are too many to count. Now, I'm into House, The Office (America), Desperate Housewives, Family Guy, Muppets Tonight, Quantum Leap, etc etc. I could go on for hours.

Mythbusters, Top gear, ... Anime (Bleach, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, ... ) I seem to have drifted towards Japanese humor and kick ascii good guys over the bad guys stuff in anime than anything currently in production elsewhere that I can get. The the live action I keep to sanity checks (if you can call Mythbusters sane ) and gearhead (petrol-head) shows.
